EREDO AGOG AS SALIU COMMISSIONS TWO PROJECTS AMIDST GLAMOUR AND FUNFAIR





Gift MPV Space Bus to Eredo Market Men & Women Association

Excitement was in the air as Hon. Adeniyi Saliu, the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area, Commissioned two major projects, executed by his administration amidst glamour and funfair. 

The event started with a visit  to the Palace of Alara of Ilara to pay homage to His Majesty Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (Telade IV), who along with the Council Chairman and other dignitaries proceeded to UPE Primary School, Ilara for the Official handing over of the newly upgraded and rufurbished block of Six (6) Classrooms with Furniture to the authoritues of SUBEB ably represented by the Education Secretary of Epe LGA Mr.  Odugbela Adekunle and subsequent distribution of School bags,  Exercise books and other writing materials to all pupils of the School before proceeding to newly constructed Mojoda Motor Park,  Lock Up Shops with basic amenities.

Saliu in his address said he was delighte to perform the official commissioning of these projects and subsequent handing over of the Market, Motor Park, and the UPE Primary School, Ilara in fulfilment of his Electoral promises. 
I hope that you cling to  the fact that our democracy can deliver on our promises,  I am here today to  fulfill my words , Saliu emphasized.


When I made those promises during my electioneering campaign in 2017 while seeking your votes under the banner of our party All Progressives Congress,  (APC),  they were not vote catching or election gimmicks,  they were determination we made to alleviate the sufferings   of our people. These projects were meant to respond to the yearnings of our market men and women, who are larger contributors to our economic life in retail businesses in the Local Council, Saliu reiterated.

Meanwhile, Hon.  Wale Raji,  member Federal House of Representatives, Epe Federal Constituency commended the hardworking Chairman for making our leaders and our great party All Progressives Congress proud by keeping faith with the people, assured the Chairman of continuous support and also used the opportunity to update the people of the numerous activities and interventions he is undertaking to further deliver the dividends of democracy to Epe Federal Constituency. 

Alhaji Akanni Seriki (Bamu) while presenting an MPV Space Bus to Eredo Market Men and Women Association donated by the Council boss, said he's excited seeing Hon.  Saliu performing excellently. Also Hon. Wasiu Odeyemi (Wastab) tasked the Chairman to  keep up the good work and replicate his developmental strides in all the wards. Hon Dele Onabokun in his own remarks thanked the Chairman for the good job and prayed for him and his family.

Royal Fathers and other prominent political leaders at the event took turns to address the event as they showered  encomiums on the chairman for  his landmark achievements in office.

The presence of the entire political structure in Epe Division added colour to the event, the roll call includes Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, Lady Doja Otedola, Hon Wale Raji, Hon Wasiu Odeyemi, Hon. Dele Onabokun and his wife,  Chief Ganiu Olayemi, Hon. Omolaja Sabiu, Hon. Lanre Odubote, Hon. Bar. Tunde Seriki, Alhaja Ramota Bankole,  Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu member LSHA,  Epe Constituency II and representative of Hon. Tobun Abiodun,  member LSHA,  Epe I. 

Royal fathers  in attendance includes, His Royal Majesty Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, Alara of Ilara. Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja,  Aladeshoyin of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, Oba Aileru the Alade Uraka of Poka and Oba Muftau Ogunnukan,  Adegbajo of Odogbawojo, High Chiefs and Baales. 

Others were the Vice Chairman, Hon. W. Taiwo. Hon. Lateef Okesanya the leader of the House and other Councillors,  Hon. Wale Salau and other Executive members. APC LGA Chairmen of Epe and Eredo, Rasco ladies,  Rasco Youth,  Women groups, Market Youth, Cars Owners and Drivers Association, League of Imams,  Representatives of Christain Association of Nigeria among others. 

The event ended with lots of funfair and celebration as Hon.  Saliu Adeniyi promised to commission two more projects (on going construction of a block of Six Classrooms at L.G. Primary School, Igbooye and Ongoing Construction of First Phase of Iraye Market) before the end of the year.
