Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs Dr. Wale Ahmed has charged the Executive Chairman of Yaba LCDA to maintain the cordial relationship that exist between the Councillors, members of the Executive, Management, staff and the good people of the Local Government. He dropped this hint during his working Visit to Yaba LCDA.
It is apparent from i see here that the Councillors are in working harmony with the Chairman. "In other Local Governments we met the Councillors in their Chamber, but in Yaba, all the Councillors are with the Chairman in his office, this working relationship is highly applauded.
The visit is to afford the Ministry the opportunity to hand first hand information on the infrastructural development in our various Local Government to strengthen the existing relationship.
Omiyale availed the Commissioner the opportunity to scrutinise the projects so far executed, the ongoing projects and those he intends to embark upon in the shortest possible time.
On the Commissioners entourage were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government Affairs Prince Olusola Olusi, Director Local Government Department and others.
The Team was received by the Executive Chairman Hon (Dr ) Kayode Adejare Omiyale,Leader of the House Hon. Solomon Gbinigie and the other eight Councillors, Secretary to the Local Government Hon Adetayo Adekiitan Oyemade, Council Manager Dr. ( Mrs) 'Kemi 'Tunde Adefowokan,Some Management Staff, Party leaders, Chairman Community Development Committee Mr Adeboye Odunsi and others.
