The meeting which was organized by the magodo residential association together with the APC was an Avenue for the party candidate to meet the residents in preparation for the forth coming by election in October this year.
Hon Abiru in his short speech thanked the MRA for giving him an opportunity to Express his desire to run for the senatorial office and promised never to disappoint them.He promised to listen and to bring to fore his decades of experience as a disciplined technocrat.In a short question and answer session Hon Abiru promised to provide a qualitative representation as a workable calendar would be followed in a round table periodic consultative meetings with his constituents.
The mayoress of ikosi isheri LCDA also use the opportunity to show case her achievements in the last seven months in office and presented the senatorial candidate to the magodo residents. She described Abiru as an innovative financial expect with over 26years experience in the Nigerian financial terrian and the best man for the job.
Speaking on behalf of the magodo residents the BOT Chairman Chief S A Owojori thanked the senate candidate and all his entourage for coming.He promised that the association and the people of magodo will come out en masse come October 31st to vote for all the two APC candidates as victory is assured.
